If the match is interrupted or abandoned due to rain, the reserve day on Monday, November 3, will come into play. However, rain chances remain at 55% on that day as well, raising concerns about a possible washout.

What Happens If the Final Is Washed Out?

Unlike the group stages, knockout matches in the ICC Women’s World Cup 2025 have a reserve day. If the final cannot be completed on Sunday, it will resume on Monday from the point it was stopped. However, if rain disrupts both days and no result is possible, India and South Africa will be declared joint winners, as per ICC rules.
