Directed by Sujeeth, OG is a gangster drama that fans have long awaited from Pawan Kalyan. He plays Ojas Gambheera, a retired gangster who returns to Mumbai to confront his past and rival crime lord Omi Bhau, portrayed by Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi in his Telugu debut.

Actress Neha Shetty had filmed a special song for the movie. However, due to creative reasons, it was removed from the theatrical release. Music director Thaman S revealed in a recent interview that the song will be re-added in future screenings or digital releases.
