Aadhaar Update Online: No More Queues at Enrollment Centers
From November 1, you can update your name, address, date of birth, mobile number, and email ID online. This means no more waiting at Aadhaar Seva Kendras. The UIDAI has made the process digital-first, allowing you to complete updates from your smartphone or laptop.
Automatic Aadhaar Verification via Government Databases
Your submitted details will now be verified automatically using databases like:
- PAN card
- Passport
- Driving licence

- Birth certificate
This system reduces human errors and speeds up the process. It also improves data accuracy and security.

PAN-Aadhaar Linking Deadline: December 31, 2025
If you haven’t linked your PAN with Aadhaar yet, do it before December 31, 2025. Otherwise, your PAN will become inactive from January 1, 2026. This could affect your ability to file taxes, open bank accounts, or complete financial transactions.
